Nobody loves their pets more than I do. What does Judaism say, though, about the use of animals for experiments? What if experimenting on animals could find a cure for cancer? Is it okay then?

Divorced for 5 years, I finally sold the family house and am starting over in my own little ranch. I am not a DIYer, I'm rather a "pay other people-er." We'll see how it goes.
